So, we have been on Fire Island this 4th of July and had a great time. We were here with a bunch of friends (probably the onloy way to do it). It is an interesting and fun little island community. There are boardwalks everywhere (no roads or sidewalks). Everything is stupid expensive (because it comes over on the ferries).

On the 4th, we went to a dance at a house on the bay and then there were fireworks from a barge, it was cool.
