Actually, this is the way we went....

So in my post below about going down Studebaker Blvd to Seal Beach, I was actually kind of lying, but it is hard to explain.

One actually rode one's bike down to Studebaker Blvd only as far as Del Amo Blvd, whereupon one rode down the San Gabriel River.

Now to non-Angelenos the idea of riding in the river may seem odd, but the picture below is actually of the San Gabriel River - so you see what I mean. By the by, the picture is when there is a LOT of water in the river.

And , no, that is not "Thunder Road" from Grease. "Thunder Road" is the Los Angeles River under the 6th street Bridge (the same bridge as used in "Lost" at the end of Season 4).
