Let me say this time it kicked off much better than last time. But last time the first season SUCKED until Heather Locklear showed up at the very end. So, it is a low bar to clear.

This time it doesn't start all "Hey, we live here. I'm Vanessa Williams - but not the whour, the other black one."

Now, this time it jumps right into whour from before the first commercial.

Sydney pulls the latest bad boy into her apartment. He blacks out, and she is dead the next day. But we find out, via Sydneylioush flashbacks, that almost everyone had a reason to hate her.

Also, the young pup (David) she used to sleep with - she also slept with his father. AND his father is Dr. Michael Mancini from the old show. Who now has a gazillion dollars (and clearly has used it on a lift - because boy he looks the same.)

They still had the good girl, the good boy, and the questionable boy and the very good girl - but they are all played by a new cast - just slightly more racially diverse. PS - Why can the girls be hot and exotic (half-African America and fully Asian) but all the boys are always all white? What up with that?

Anyway, it was trashy enough that Ed started watching it even though he tried not to.
