I Hate Giving Bad Reviews

I saw this horrible play ("The Oldsmobiles") with Richard Masur and I had to give an awful review. I hate that.
.
This is how I started it...
.
The Oldsmobiles, a new play by Roger Rosenblatt, is oddly reminiscent of an overly long Carol Burnet sketch, both in gentle humor, oddly inappropriate subject matter and immediate forgetfulness. It isn’t a bad play, but it isn’t much of a show either.
.
Clocking in at a quick hour, the show is all about an elderly couple preparing to commit suicide off the Manhattan Bridge. They kid each other fondly, express amazement over who shows up tp convince them not to jump and try to remember why they are doing this. Half way into the show, I wanted to push them into the East River myself.
