Sometimes I am humbled by how lucky we are

We in America are so lucky that we can let little shitty things bug us. Look at this update from Kiva to a loan I made to a woman in Benin. I forget how blessed we are here and how we can sometimes take it all for granted.

This is an update on your loan to Françoise Kouzinhoundo in Benin.
Françoise Kouzinhoundo has had a rough go of things since receiving herloan. She used her loan to purchase a variety of dry foods : maize, yamflour, sugar, condiments, etc. but fell ill with malaria shortly afterreceiving her supply. The disease was very hard on her and she ended upin the hospital with a coma for a month. Her husband and six childrentook over some of her responsibilities and kept the business going inher absence. Though still weak, she is now back home and getting back to work.
