But he seems to be getting some real heat with regards to birth control. He is against it you see, and thinks the Supreme Court decision that legalized it should be revisited.

Again, not just all abortion and any gay rights, but he is dead set against Birth Control too. Not just for youngsters, or unmarried heathens. He is against Birth control for anyone, including married hetrosexual couples. Since he is a Catholic and counts his faith among the reasons he wants to outlaw Gay Marriage and Gay Relations - I will give him full credit for consistency. Because it is an entirely consistent position within his faith and world view. I mean, the rules work in the Vatican why not in the United States?

So - to recap, it's not just gay sex for fun he objects to, it's ANY sex for fun. Even between married partners of the opposite sex (husband and wife -as it were).

And, yes, I am one of those "secularists" who think it was a little odd that he and his wife brought home the still born baby corpse - so the family could see it and "say goodbye" to the dead baby. Not "wrong" as in outlaw it. I mean it is their family, and if that helped their healing good on them. I just find it odd.
