This was in the New York Times today. Two thousand men and women have been killed in Afghanistan, most since we started the surge.

I disagree with the continuation of this war, I think we have accomplished the objective of removing the Taliban. But I salute the men and women that are fighting for our country. They are committed to a better world, and I am humbled by them.
