April Mascot of the Month: Richard Griffiths

Richard Griffiths passed away a few days ago.  I decided to make him Mascot of the Month.  I have seen him twice on Broadway and have always admired his acting.

Dominic Cooper (left), James Corden (front Center) & Richard Giffiths (right)
The first time Eddie and I saw him, he was staring in The History Boys - a role he repeated in the film.  It was a great play with some real future amazing talent including;  James Corden who starred in Gavin and Stacy in the UK and won the Tony for Two Men, One Govern'r, and Dominic Cooper who has been a ton of stuff).
.
With Daniel Radcliff in Equuus (the horse choreography was by an old Mascot - Spencer )

The next thing I saw him in (on Broadway) was Equus with Daniel Radcliff and Kate Mulgrew.  He was amazing.
.
He was most popular in the movies as Harry Potter's evil(ish) Uncle Vernon Dursley.  What was amazing to see on stage was how big he was.  I mean - huge.  But you quickly forgot about it as he inhabited roles.
