Something is clearly lost in the translation. It is the most anticipated British theater import in forever. I hated it. Loathed it.

Found it stupid, rude and not funny. Parents who hate their child. Teachers that are incompetent. A head mistress (played by a man) who is oh-so-humorously masculine and sadistic. And children. Lots of children singing.

I didn't understand what the fuss is about. But, God those Brits love a man in a frock.
