Remember James Clapper - He's Still Lying to Us All

Do you remember Roger Clemens?  He was a pitcher who was prosecuted for lying to Congress.
.

Now do you remember James Clapper?  He is the Director of National Intelligence who lied to Congress.  Congress, who is suppose to keep tabs on what the Executive Branch is doing about this whole "all singing, all dancing, all spying, all the time".  When asked if the NSA collects any type of data on millions or hundreds of millions US citizens, he responded "No Sir" to the Senate.
.
When asked about it later (but before June 21st), Mr. Bullshit Clapper said it was the "least most untruthful" answer he could give.  That, by the by, is still a lie.  A lit to the people who swear that their oversight keeps the whole process in check.
.
We are suppose to trust the government grabbing all of our data (partially because Congress oversees them - Congress - whom Mr. Clapper lied to).
.
But now Mr. Clapper has a new answer.  Now he says (according to the Washington Post on June 21) that  he "misunderstood the question.".  Odd that answer.
.
Odd firstly because it directly conflicts with his earlier explanation for lying.  Even odder because the questions (include the one he "misunderstood") were submitted a day in advance to Mr. Clapper.  You lying dirt bag.  So Mr. Clapper were you too stupid to read the questions before going on TV to speak to Congress about 1 single project.  Or were you too stupid to understand the question you were too stupid to read.  Or do you think we are freaking idiots!
.
So here is the score.  Lie to Congress about steroids, go to jail.  Lie to Congress about 200 million American's Constitutional rights - nothing.  Not a single thing.
.
And Congress and the President wonder why we don't believe them about this whole program.  A program, by the by, we wouldn't know about if Snowden didn't say anything.  And we wouldn't know because Congressional oversight WAS LIED TO.  And nothing happens.
.
Because there is one standard of justice for the rich and powerful and another for the rest of us.
.
If this happened in any other country, we would (rightly) trash them as a Banana Republic.
