I am a fan of the terriers. Anyone who has meet Trevor, Hastings or Ashford - okay not Ashford, but Hastings and Trevor knows that they are smart as a whip. And they measure their intelligence in getting what they want at a minimum of effort. As a person would.
The list below measures not intelligence, but blind, robotic obedience - something neither displayed or desired by Hastings or Trevor or most terriers (that Yorkie on the list is a sellout).
