Chihuly at the New York Botanical Gardens

I said there were two reasons we went to the NY Botanical Gardens the other day. The first was the daffodils.

The second was there is currently a Chlhuly show. "Chilhuly" is Dave Chihuly, an American glass sculptor. I mean, I guess with glass it is less "sculpting" and more "blowing" or "firing", but his words have morphed into sculptures that are amazing.

And it was very cool to see them in the gardens.

 

And then there was an entire set mixed inside the greenhouses with the plants.
