Trader Joe's is good and (in Los Angeles) convenient.

In New York City it has taken on the complexion of the city itself... rude, over-expensive and a pain the ass. It's not to say there isn't much to love about Trader Joes.

But if I have to put in my patience somewhere, I will do it for theater and great dining - not stevia drops and frozen thai goyza.
