Yesterday the Eagles played the Patriots for the Super Bowl. The game took place in Minneapolis, and not everyone could get a ticket.
So, some Eagles fans - rowdy, annoying Philadelphia football bros - decided to watch the game at a local Minneapolis bar called "the Eagle".
The Eagle is a common name for a gay bar catering to usually hairy gay men who enjoy leather. And yet, despite the mix up, the crazy ass Philadelphia football fans, and the leather men all watched the game together and had fun.
Despite our reputation for ice skating and dance, lots and lots of gay men like sports. And I am glad we could put all that shit aside to root against the Patriots.
