A Joke for the Orange County Homies

On tonight's repeat of The Big Bang Theory, there was once again the great joke that goes out to the Homies in Orange County (the "homies" of Orange County being drunken white boys looking for fun - it was a long long time ago).

Leonard to his mother after she asks him about his new girlfriend, "Are you drunk?"

Mother, "God I hope so, otherwise why did we stop at Del Taco."

Del Taco is the 24 hour, end-of-a-night-of-drinking food stop. A Del Beef Burrito, french fries and Diet Coke will sop up any excess alcohol in your system before you crash. There was (is) a Del Taco in Hollywood on Santa Monica Blvd and Highland that pretty much made all of its money on the week-end after the Orange County boys had been up drinking in West Hollywood as they went home. There was never a line until 1AM - 4:30AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
