Top of Parc Royal.... Lots of steps

The building half way up Mount Royal

Gorgeous.  Montreal has some gorgeous stuff.  This was the public hall about 1/2 up Mount Royal.  From here there were views of the city that were probably amazing on a clear day.  Unfortunately this was not  a clear day - but still nice views.

The day... Well Sunday was what one calls humidity and what I call Hellish.  We walked up about 8 million steps to the half way point of Mount Royal.  I will post the drowned rat pictures of Scooter later - believe me climbing when out of shape, 80 degrees with 85% humidity does not a pretty picture make of our 52 year old hero!

I will say, however, I liked the steps better than the steep slope it took to get to the steps.
