It is normal for presidential candidates to release 4 - 10 years (a tradition started by - of all people - Mitt's father George Romney won ran for President). He refuses, having done the trade off that what is in the taxes is worse than the heat is getting for not releasing them.

So Harry Reid - head of the Senate and also a Mormon who tithes 10% to the church - said that he heard that Mittens didn't pay any tax for the last 10 years. Which is improbably, but possible with the right tax lawyers (for example, General Electric paid zero taxes the last 2 years and they print money). Well, the "Right" and Republicans are piling on Harry Reid for this, saying that it isn't a fair criticism.

Which I find HILARIOUS. Why? Because Republicans have spent the last 4 years complaining that Barack Obama wasn't born in the USA - even after the birth certificate was given. Talk about your unfair criticism. And Mittens never objects. As in just last month...

ps - "Equally Fair" would be for Mittens to release his taxes, then have famous people go on television and say the returns were forgeries. But most people are not as big an asshole as Donald Trump is.
