How a tired doggy gets home after the Vet

Trevor had his vaccinations at the vet.  Now the vet is a reasonable distance (1/2 mile) for the pup.  Again, Trevor is built for speed not endurance.  His front paw is ouchie - but there is no problem with it.  He gets tired after the play date on Tuesdays, but it was still ouchie.

So, Trevor is now tired, super relieved that he was out of the vet, but has had his shots, so he is a little tired.  He pees, walks about 2 blocks, and just stops walking.

Now, I know my dog.  I know that we could play the "drag the poor pup down the street as strangers gasp" game for 10 blocks - or I could carry him.  But he is heavy being carried 10 blocks.
