Our current "Polar Vortex" LOW is hanging somewhere in Ontario Canada right now. Why? Hint - Global Climate Change has a huge deal to do with it. You see the Arctic Sea Ice Cap keeps melting year after year. Hooray - Northwest passage makes shipping easier. Not Hooray? The Arctic Sea is warming. Sea Water is - at the very least, above freezing. Ice Cap is - at the very least, below freezing.

Since warm air rises (hence HIGH pressure), the Arctic (North Pole - Santa's Christmas Workshop) is now warmer than interior Canada, so the LOW pressure moves south. That circling wind, that normally rotates around the North Pole through Canada, Iceland, Scandinavia & Russia, now rotates around Canada, bring our coldest ever temperatures to the USA.

Normally I insist on telling people that Global Climate CHANGE is the appropriate word. But in this case, actual Global Warming is making us butt-ass cold. March of the Penguins cold.

This weather does, in fact, do exactly the opposite of what Donald Trump's twitter feed says. It does prove Global Warming. Just because Trump's toupee isn't keeping what's left of his brains warm, doesn't mean it's not causing the problem.

Also the in this year's set of presents from Global Climate Change to the USA; the worst drought in California's history, the worst drought in the Colorado river basin's history (important since the following states depend at least partly on that water - WY, CO, UT, AZ, NV, CA), tornadoes in December (remember how warm it was when the roof were blowing off places). Torrential rain in the South. Not to mention a drought in China and the worst typhoon ever recorded in the Philippines.

The Global Climate has changed. Past tense. Get used to it and stop arguing. If you are over 50, count your blessings that you won't have to live in it as it becomes a hell-hole with people fighting over water, crops and finally land. You think 250,000,000 Bangladeshis are going to be content drowning without a fight? Some islands in the Pacific which are being lost are small, their people are actually already emigrating. But taking in 12,000 people from Naru is nothing next to the 250,000,000 JUST from Bangladesh!
