Trees of my Youth 1 - Sequioas

So I am from LA, and I have never been thrilled with trees changing colors.  I mean, they are beautiful for a week or two. But then, their done.

On the other hand, I am used to more interesting trees.

When I was little we went to see the Sequoia Redwoods.  They're the coolest.

I was told (when I was little) this was the "largest" living thing by volume.  I think a different tree is actually thought to be bigger now.
