December Mascot: Greatest Store Windows in the World

So many of you have either been to or heard about people traveling to New York to look at the Christmas windows.
.
Normally they are boring to me. They are little mechanical knic-knacs that are done better every single day at the Emporium on Main Street USA (Disneyland)... so maybe I am jaded.
.
But then.....
But then there is Bergdorf Goodman. The impossibly expensive, impossibly amazing windows that are worthy of a visit.
Penguins watch the parade of Prada fashions!
.
So this year, these are the Mascots of the Month for December.

This amazing window is almost impossible to see here. On the side are 2 of the details, the Dodo in front of the giant typewriter, and the Terrier made of paper.
.
This year the theme is a "Compendium of Curiosities" - which is no theme at all really!!!

Her main dress her (by Misrahi) is reflected in several mini versions on the various mini circular stairways.

Yes, these are Emus, with bagpipes in kilts (any homage to Misrahi Scottish print gown).
