Okay, fine, my homie homos in LA tend to wear “beach” appropriate for far too many years. I blame Kelly Slater (surfer) and Karch Kilrey (volleyball). If they can wear shorts and tees into their 50s, the rest of us can too.

But New York is, in many ways, worse by being slaves to the latest and greatest. The latest is to actually wear a trend from the fashion runways. Long Pants, rolled up, with hard shoes and no socks.
