We have a batch of fresh faced pre-schoolers called interns.

Now, luckily, I am on tangentially associated with them ("Scott can you show little Suzie and Jimmy here how to..."), but for the people they actually work with, it is tough. There is no time built into their work processes (or expectations) to actually help train of guide these people. So the managers have to get their jobs done as well as hopefully help train. As one woman put it, "I wasn't given time to be a manager of my own team, much less a trainer for a bunch of new people."

And then, of course, there is the fact that Archie and Veronica make one feel so... decrepit. Ah... summer.
