So the mighty Beavers of Oregon State University lost to a CIF division 3 school - The Sacramento State Hornets. (CIF: A little joke for the homeboys)

And by Hornets - I assume they mean the insect, not the tragic AMC car of the same name (which was essentially a Gremlin with a boot).

Yes, the Beavers (shown in their Happy Beaver look - not their vicious look, for obvious reasons) lost to the equivalent of Mount Mary's School for Wayward Girls.

In their next outing they were blasted by the Badgers of Wisconsin 35 - 0.  I remember as I was actually at that game.  Oh the times we had...

Anyway, what poor team will they lose to next?

Oh yes, they play the sad sack Bruins of UCLA.  It is Rick Neihusel's 4th conference opener.  He never won  any of them when it was the PAC 10.  Maybe he can change luck now that it is the PAC 12.  Go Bruins!
