Castle in Bodrum

One of the very cool things we saw at the end of the trip was this Castle Fortification in Bodrum.  It was a Castle built by the Crusaders. There was a tower for each of the occupying armies.  An Italian (Venician) tower, British, French, German and Spanish Towers.
.
It was started and built from 1402, surrendered to the Ottomans without a fight in 1522, when the Knights Templar retreated to Malta.
Our friend Lorenzo, outside the Italian Tower (he is from Milan)

The outside (secondary) walls. The stones along the path are from the Mausoleum of Harlicarrnasses

From the upper reaches.  The Minaret added by the Ottomans.
