I enjoy a non-linear story. But in the case of The Cloud Atlas - the book - it was too non-linear for me. I got lost and couldn't get into it. Normally I overcome that with a cross country plane ride, when I have nothing but time to sink into a book and make the connections. But I didn't travel when I was trying to read this.

But, the movie looks so very very cool.
