Ole Miss - 50 Years of Riot over the Blacks on Campus
In 1962 the first black student was admitted to Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) sparking riots on Oct 1st.
So much has changed in the South since then. So much progress and the old south isn't the old south anymore. That's what they keep telling us.
But, 50 years later in 2012 the first Tuesday in November, Ole Miss rioted again. This time because a black man (1/2, but still) was elected President of the United States in a free and fair election. Because - you know - the South has "changed" so much.
