Here is a picture of the old and the older in Bath. The water itself and the ancient walls lining it are from the Roman times (the Romans were a very clean people). The church is from the days when the Anglicans took over the Catholic churches (the Tudor phase). And the upper reaches of the bath and the house in in the upper right of this picture are from the Georgian phase. Old, older and oldest (in reverse order) as it were.
