Went to the Noguchi Museum This Week-end

Eddie and I went to the Noguchi Museum this week-end, in Astoria, Queens.
.
It was started in 1985 by the actual artist himself.  He worked in large stone and metal.  I found his works very tactile and somehow warm even with the materials.
.
It was only after seeing the show and a video of him I connected him to the stone and water sculpture park in Costa Mesa.
.
If you are in Queens (or Costa Mesa) you should visit.  It is very zen.

Many of his larger stone pieces are spread in the first section of the museum.

There is a very Japanese sculpture garden outside.

Individual pieces that are small and/or mixed media are inside smaller gallery spaces

His Costa Mesa rock garden.
