Morning Read - Gotta Love Tina Brown

Tina Brown, a respected figure in media (she is on the border of "journalist" and "personality" nowadays) started The Daily Beast a while back (six years ago?).  And while the Beast has gone through many changes, one thing hasn't changed and that is "The Daily Cheat Sheet".

It is a morning grab bag of 10 stories that Tina found interesting.  And while I would love to make fun of her priorities, except I totally enjoy the Cheat Sheet.  It is just enough breaking news, NYC gossip, international top story and political mischief to be fascinating. Look at today's lineup.

First, video of the NYC police doing a good job. After the bad press they are getting she wants to give them props where deserved.  Plus, non-controversial video of a cop take-down, score!

Like I said, just enough news to make the case it is a news magazine, not People.  And just enough guilty pleasure to make us read the news.

As for that Crazy Rich Foreigner story.  It is too juicy not to share.
