Why Birds?

I have, in my senior years, discovered the attraction of birds.  I do not know why?  Perhaps I am truly turning into that eccentric old crazy uncle.  However, until I have a country estate I tramp around on, I cannot complete that picture.

Anywho... I love birds.  I love that they might be the end result of dinosaurs.  When I was a youth, dinosaurs were thought to have evolved to reptiles (see- crocodile).  I was in England at their Victoria and Albert Museum when the "revolutionary" idea that they might be ralted to birds was proposed.  They had to have warnings all over that this was not only unproven, but in dispute.

They are so interesting up close - which you hardly ever get to see.
