Not a "problem", but a fact

Every now and then an article comes along that makes sense to me in a non-politcal way.  At least if you step back and look at it, it is non-political.

This is a Robert Reich article - Bill Clinton's Secretary of Labor and all around smart guy.  He is also a pretty liberal guy - but the point he makes here isn't so liberal, it's just what it is.  In an interconnected world, Corporations aren't tied to a country.  Now, Mr. Reich believes that government's job is to invest in Education and Infrastructure to make America attractive.  That is a liberal idea - but until then it isn't a liberal article.
