Well... let's see. The fake Terror Advisories (which cost us tax payers millions every time they issued one) included one just days before the Democratic Convention.

The words added by the Bush Administration, right after Kerry was nominated, to a terror alert were these (REMEMBER TOLD BY THE BUSH WHITE TO ADD THESE LINES TO A TERROR ALERT)....
.
But we must understand that the kind of information available to us today is the result of the President's leadership in the war against terror. The reports that have led to this alert are the result of offensive intelligence and military operations overseas, as well as strong partnerships with our allies around the world, such as Pakistan. Such operations and partnerships give us insight into the enemy so we can better target our defensive measures here and away from home.

At the time Mr. Ridge said that he wasn't playing the political card, and the White House didn't influence him. Now, on Page 234 of his new book, he admits that was a lie. The White House told him to add those lines. (Time excerpt here)

So let me just say to all of those pundits that said that even to question the President was an act of terrorism; those that blovated that Bush and Chenny were being defamed by any questioning of their motives; that screamed at us that by exercising out America right to think and speak we were give aid and comfort the enemies of troops; let me say Screw You (I thought FOAD was a little too harsh for this blog).

I love this Country and our founding values, Freedom and Liberty. Men and women have died to defend it. To be accused of hating this country or our troops simply because we didn't believe the lies of those in power was not treason against the USA or proof that we don't love it.
