Peter Sarsgaard stars in "An Education" opening today.

I got to be honest, every time I hear the name "Peter Sarsgaard" I picture some ruggedly handsome Norwegian or Icelandic guy. Tall, outdoorsy and a bit of a Viking (mental picture -not actual Vikings - they were not pretty).

And then I find the picture of him. The New York Times, in it's review, refers to him as "quietly dashing".

Balderdash. His is blandly good looking.

Which isn't to say he is a bad actor. He is a very good actor. He should just change his name to something like "Peter Smiith" (I left in the extra 'i' on purpose to reflect his double vowel heritage).
