Matthew on Everest

So our young our friend, Matthew, just climbed Everest.  We helped a little when he was raising money.

It's not a creepy old guy thing.  Matthew's mom and dad have been friends of ours forever.  Matt's mom (Gill) and his brother  and sister were here a few years ago.  He's a great young man.

And we were thrilled to help him.  He was very charming when he was here. And we were happy to help with his goal.  How long have I know Matt?  Well, like David and the Big Dog shorts post, I have known him since he was in diapers.  Eddie and I took him to the London Zoo once on a canal boat from Camden.  Which is to say, a long long time.

Can you even imagine being like 19 or 20 and climbing Everest already.  That is totally cool.  Then he spend a week trekking in Nepal.  Very very cool.
