What?
.
A Mitten's spokesperson is now saying that, the reports of what the the first anonymous Mitten's spokesperson said - well he didn't say it. Retroactively I guess. For those of you who missed Mitten's spokesperson's comments. He (or she - the Telegraph agreed to do the interview off the record because Mittens "didn't want to criticize the President while he was out of the country") - Mitten's spokesperson said that "We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he feels that the special relationship is special," the adviser said of Romney, according to the Telegraph: "The White House didn't fully appreciate the shared history we have." (my rant here)
.
Apparently Presidents that have a mixed race aren't part of the "Anglo-Saxon heritage". Not Barack Obama specifically of course - just any mixed race non-Anglo-Saxon Presidents.
.
Now a Mittens' spokesperson says that it isn't true. And they didn't say it. And if they did say it, then they weren't representing the Candidate. But they wouldn't say which it they were referring to. But the spokesperson that wasn't representing Mittens when he was saying offensive things WAS representing the Candidate with regards to the rest of the Telegraph article. That unknown person only didn't say the things that were offensive - you know depending on your definition of offensive the other things that they can't confirm they said, they did.
.
They are going to retroactively yell at that person - whoever it was.
