Example of a crap map

Earlier I gave an example of GREAT map from the New York Times (here).   Here is a lousy map from Semetric (who lauds their data-driven business).
.
The problem with this map (from their PDR report - here), which tracks music downloads is two-fold.  First, the basic message is "what is this map saying"?  This is total music downloads, but the story is about illegal music downloads and they aren't broken out.
.

Second, in case you haven't noticed Alaska isn't part of the USA.  And Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Vancouver Island are not considered part of Canada.
.
That is a crap map for someone selling data.
