This overreaction is what we (liberals) called "crazy" when they said it about Gay Marriage rights.

The Supreme Court is doing their job by interpreting the Constitution and holding the laws to its standards. They aren't "rewriting" their own laws anymore now, than they were when we agreed with them.

Those are the rules of the game.

As for being "Ideologues"... well, that is almost always true whether you agree or disagree with them. They are Judges on the Supreme Court. They have strong ideas, strong opinions and are usually very intelligent, that is why they were nominated.
