It would be nice if the gunman didn't have a semi-automatic weapon, but nothing will change on that front.
It was admirable that a local with a shot gun was able to wing the killer, then follow him until he drove into a ditch. That man is a hero and probably have saved many more lives.
I cannot find it in me to pray to a God that would allow this to happen to children in a church - but if you can, then great for you. They would probably love your prayers.
There is no use in discussing gun control after this, since worse gun violence changed nothing and more dead children changed nothing. There is no reason to drag the people of Texas through a discussion on this, where nothing will change.
