So today I was at a PMP training thing, and David Houle was the keynote speaker. He has made us his own title (he is a "futurist" - cool huh?) and I loved his talk.

In fact I feel as good as I have ever felt about the future of life today. He is remarkably optimistic about "the future" of humanity.

He also told a funny story (or telling). By the end of this year he will have spoken every continent (except Antarctica) and in over 25 countries of all types. The US is the only one where he has to ask if people believe in global climate change. Most people giggled at that, but a few boo'ed.
