I Saw Little Foxes on Broadway Yesterday

At my show, the four in the center are Richard Thomas, Laura Linney, Cynthia Nixon and Michael McKean.
I saw the play Little Foxes on Broadway yesterday.  It has a great cast, but an interesting twist.

The the leading ladies, Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon, trade off on the lead role and supporting role.  It is set of different days (and times). I happened to see Cynthia Nixon as Reginia (the lead) and Laura Linney as Birdie (the supporting player).
Linney as Regina

They are both great.  And both nominated for Tony's, albeit Laura Linney in Lead Actress and Cynthia Nixon as Supporting Role Actress.

The show also had fantastic turns by...  Richard Thomas, who does mention in the playbill that he was John Boy in the Waltons. And Michael McKean, who does not mention in the playbill that he was Lenny in Laverne and Shirley.

Was every good, yes. But, if you ever saw the movie, it is impossible to banish Bette Davis from your mind.
